The
beginning:
Black
Sea Technology Company AD Varna
was incorporated and registered under the Commerce Act under company
file ¹ 4175 in 1993 with the name Black
Sea Technology Group ÎÎD.
Since its
incorporation till the company’s
invasion in the gas distribution business under its current name, BSTC was involved as a
consultant and technological structure in the marine research and
development
field for western oil companies.
The
development:
Black
Sea Technology Company AD headed
its way in
the investment
and trade area
connected with natural gas distribution
in 1994, when
it has won
the
its first concession
for the
Municipality of Targovishte.
Since then the main activities of the company are distribution and
supply of
natural gas.
In 2001
the Company has been issued licenses
for natural gas distribution by the State Energy Regulation Commission
for the
Municipalities of Dobrich and Targovishte, where now the Company
supplies with
natural gas almost all of the industrial enterprises.
Black Sea Technology Company AD owns and maintains a gas distribution network amounting in total over 200 km.
In the
beginning of 2004 the company has won
the bids for gas distribution for the regions of Moesia and Dobroudja
and was
issued licenses by the State Energy Regulation Commission for a 35 –
years’
period. The company will invest over 150 mln BGN for construction of
gas
distribution networks on the territory of both regions.
The staff of Black Sea Technology Company AD amount to more than 30 people, amongst are specialists in different areas - engineers and economists. The Company provides between 200 – 300 temporary employment opportunities during the period of construction of the gas distribution networks.
Black
Sea Technology Company AD has
two subsidiary companies – Black
Sea Gas Company
EOOD and Gas engineering OOD.
Black Sea Gas Company EOOD is a company established in the field of the gas distribution networks’ design, as well as in the area of projection and reconstruction of internal heating systems based on natural gas. The company has a high quality staff specialized in these fields.
The majority
shareholder of the company is the Italian AMGA Azienda Multiservizi
S.p.A. – www.amga.udine.it,
with 99.69% of the share
capital of BSTC.

The company invests in the
construction of gas distribution networks and supplies with gas
industrial,
communal and household consumers. The company has already developed
general
gasification schemes for 38 Municipalities in the regions of Dobroudja,
Moesia
and Dunav.
Black Sea Technology Company AD is present in the gas distribution business in
Bulgaria since many years and offers effective solutions for production
of heat
and electric energy using combined modules.
Black Sea Technology Company AD works in the
gas distribution
market in Northeastern
Bulgaria in close
cooperation with one of the
best Bulgarian banks - Bulbank with which BSTC endeavors to
develop this field of the Bulgarian economy.
